I dont know anything about those mods though. ![]() Though the moddb page for BZ2 suggests otherwise. Battlezone, on its own, is already a blast, but plenty of oft-praised games have taught us that everything can be improved with mods, so we've collected some of the best. I cant think of any graphics mods for either of the BZs off the top of my head. Thanks to full Steam Workshop integration, a lively modding community sprung up in no time, with the still warm-out-of-the-over title boasting a large mod library already. This Mod aims to replace every single audio file in Battlezone 1.5 (except voices, etc) This is still a work in progress, but feel free to download. A collection of basic mods designed to overhaul all the factions within Battlezone 98: Redux. The remaster, which left pretty much everything save graphics untouched, recaptured the wonder of the original title and quickly accrued a large player base. Some others i still have: B.Z.N.E.S Mod Nuclear Addon v1. Still have the Forgotten Enemies Mod and The Uler Mod + about 30 other mods oh and about 40 or so Vehicles. The used Battlezone 2 CD is in great condition and Ive already downloaded two free MODS plus the XP-Win7 BZ2 update which includes dozens of online. ![]() Not a whole lot of games have done that since, which is why a full graphical remaster of Battlezone II released this year as Battlezone: Combat Commander filled that same niche once more. I Played Battlezone and Battlezone II whin they first came out, and played them for about 3 years, And Loved the Forgotten Enemies Mod was one of the Greatest Mods Made. The Battlezone series back in the 90's took two vastly different genres - the First Person Shooter and the Real-Time Strategy - and mashed them together in a fantastically quaint Frankenstein-like manner that in the face of all odds turned out to be a great gameplay hook.
